This is a time when political pressures and public opinions are changing the way that policies are handled in our government. Now I am not going to get up on a soap box here and "preach" to anyone about how things should be. I just wanted to share this with everyone to honor those of our brave soldieries who have fallen in the line of duty as well as those at home and abroad who are working to help keep all of us safe.
My brother is an Assistant HazMat Coordinator in the United States Navy. He works very hard, is raising a wonderful family and attending University with high honors. I am so very proud of him and what he is doing.
In special honor to all those who serve and for my brother...I have created this new Free Dishcloth Pattern. I hope you enjoy it.

Hi RaAnn,
I love your patterns! Thanks for posting them. I especially love this one and plan to add it to the back of a vest for my 7 year old son. He likes to attach pillows to his arms and "fly" around the house saying he is the "Eagle of America" in an authoritative voice ;)
Debbie
Thank you for posting your patterns. I have been looking for a U.S. Navy pattern to make a Christmas stocking for my son. Your dishcloth pattern is perfect!
I really like the look of the cloth! I began knitting last night and stumbled upon a problem, though. In Row 23 there are two extra stitches. Since I really didn't want to stop knitting, I removed one of the repeats of "K1, P1" where it said to do that and then five repeats. I hope that it won't make a big difference in the overall pattern, but that's the only place I could see that might account for the two stitches. Thanks again for an awesome pattern!
Corrections made to ROW 23: Repeat FOUR times and NOT FIVE.
